Still reading...

I am about two-thirds of the way through "Gone with the Wind," and I absolutely love it. It is such a well written book, and it gives such an interesting perspective of the impact of the war and reconstruction on the South. It isn't a view that we ever studied in school. And I am having a hard time deciding whether I like Scarlett or not. She definitely does some terrible things, but you understand where she is coming from. I don't know the story, but I know it has a terrible ending (or at least that is what I have been told). I am not looking forward to the terrible ending.
