Which book to read first...

So, my original start date was going to be January 1. But due to a trip to Montgomery for Christmas, I am contemplating starting on the plane ride there (December 23). We will see. Regardless, I am excited about starting so I made Michael help me in deciding how to pick which book to read first. I decided not to read the books in order of rank because there were several non-fiction books in a row, and I wasn't sure I could handle "Democracy in America" followed by "On the Origin of Species" followed by "Das Kapital." So after asking around for ideas (I threw out chronological and alphabetical), I decided to draw the books out of a hat. Michael insisted that I use a real hat, and the only hat we have that we aren't currently using as a hat is Michael's old UVA hat (see on Izzie at right). We are going to fill the hat with names today. Not sure when I will draw the first book. I am nervous. I don't know if I will continue if I have to read "Quotations from Chairman Mao" first.
